Clockwork is sponsoring Hack Manchester 2015
ClockworkSMS is a simple text messaging API. It lets apps send and receive text messages using the language and interface of your choice. Clockwork currently has over 20,000 users and is sending messages for all types of companies, from worldwide banks and large supermarkets to family run stores and restaurants.
Clockwork has sponsored Hack Manchester for the last two years and we loved taking part so much that we’re back again this year!
Last year we were looking for 'The Most Pointless Use of Clockwork' and our winners, Esendex, came up with a truly pointless, useless, no need for it app – 'SMSaaSPS' which stands for 'SMS as a simulated postal service'. It was great! You should definitely take a look at their SMS integration idea here.
This year our challenge is; *Drum Roll please…*
'The Most Ridiculous Use of ClockworkSMS'
One of Clockwork’s developers, Martin Steel will be judging all of your ridiculous ideas over the weekend of the 24th and 25th of October and he’ll be handing out some amazing prizes to our winning team.
What’s to be won?
How could you resist entering when not only is our challenge so much fun but we have FOUR smart watches up for grabs, plus some ridiculous unicorn-themed merchandise?!
Good luck and happy hacking!
